Built to Spill was formed in 1993 by Doug Martsch and has become one of indie rock’s most enduring and influential bands. Known for expansive guitar work and melodic craftsmanship, the group has toured extensively and released a celebrated catalog of albums over three decades. The current lineup features Teresa Esguerra (Prism Bitch) on drums and Melanie Radford (Blood Lemon) on bass.
Opening the night we have Wussy, one of the most celebrated independent bands in the American Midwest, known for idiosyncratically thoughtful songwriting and an atmospheric, forceful guitar attack. Their latest record, Cincinnati Ohio, earned praise from Stereogum, Robert Christgau, and NPR, and landed in Paste’s Top 40 Rock Albums of 2024. The band remains a steadfast example of Midwestern artistic ethic — resilient, authentic, and fiercely independent.
