Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Jon B. has built a richly textured body of work rooted in a lifelong dedication to soul. With a career spanning more than 25 years, he is the artist behind multiple gold and platinum records, including the platinum-selling debut Bonafide and its Grammy-nominated hit “Someone to Love,” as well as the platinum album Cool Relax.
Discovered early by Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Jon B. became a defining voice in modern R&B, earning Billboard and Soul Train Music Award nominations and releasing enduring hits such as “They Don’t Know,” “Are U Still Down,” “Don’t Talk,” and “Ooh So Sexy.” His catalog includes collaborations with Tupac Shakur, Faith Evans, Nas, Jay-Z, Scarface, and Beenie Man.
Beyond his own recordings, Jon B. has written and produced music for Luther Vandross, Toni Braxton, Color Me Badd, and Az Yet, and was honored to remix Michael Jackson’s “You Are Not Alone.” He continues to evolve as an independent artist through his label, Vibezelect Inc., and is currently finalizing his ninth studio album featuring Tank, Donell Jones, Alex Isley, and Rick Ross.
