Grammy-nominated STRAY CATS founder and Bass Player Hall of Famer Lee Rocker made his mark singing, playing, standing on, spinning, and rocking his giant upright bass as a founding member of the STRAY CATS. The band sold more than 10 million albums, earned 23 gold and platinum-certified records, and became MTV pioneers with hits including “Rock This Town,” “Stray Cat Strut,” and “Sexy and Seventeen.” “Rock This Town” has been recognized by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as one of the “500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll.”

From appearing on the cover of Rolling Stone and performing on Saturday Night Live to headlining festivals around the world and touring with The Rolling Stones, Lee Rocker has built a remarkable career. In addition to his work with The Stray Cats, he has recorded and performed with George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Willie Nelson, Leon Russell, John Fogerty, and Carl Perkins.

Rocker has received numerous honors for his contributions to music, including induction into the Bass Player Hall of Fame, the Rockabilly Hall of Fame, and the Long Island Music Hall of Fame. In 2022, he was named one of Bass Player magazine’s 100 Greatest Bassists of All Time.

Known for his high-energy live performances and signature upright bass showmanship, Lee Rocker continues to tour worldwide, performing Stray Cats classics alongside favorites from throughout his celebrated career.
